Before we start...a handy piece of advice from The Clash...Don't Get Lost In The Supermarket.
This is by no means an exhaustive list...comment away with your own additions! For example, I know that there are oodles (and noodles?) of blues songs not listed, but that's not really my 'specialist subject' and I've tried to stick to songs I know (most of which are in my personal music library).
So let's start with...

I realise that most of these songs actually have nothing to do with food...even if they do pertain to ;o) But it's certainly food for thought!
Just one more wafer thin mint?
FINAL NOTE:
One Vision by Queen, when it was being written, was called Fried Chicken, and Yesterday by The Beatles was hummed by Sir Paul of McCartney as Scrambled Eggs whilst he was composing it!

Cool post, keep up the great work and try not to make me look so bad! =)
Ha ha...and thank you :o) I will do my best to put you to shame...mwahahahaha ;o) Are you up for a competition? Tee hee.
PP...you have to check out Intergalactic Laxative...it's SO funny! x
Oh the Intergalactic Laxative will get you from here to there
Relieve you and believe me
With out a worry or care..
cannot remember the rest LOL
Kate and Anna McGarrigle ah! my ex wife use to sing several of theirs..but that was a long time ago in a far away galaxy....
I love Kate and Anna McGarrigle; their song Talk To Me Of Mendocino is just perfect! I had a vendetta, when my dad used to play them when I was a child, against the song mentioned here, I Eat Dinner, because there is a line where they sing about mashed potato! Kids can be odd eh? Lol.
And, Pablo, you are forgetting the classic line "Spacemen wear all diapers, in which they shit and pee"! Frippery, but entertaining frippery nonetheless :o)
Yes that was one she use to sing. I did forget that line LOL.
Very cool post! You should try organizing your entire record collection by specific foods..That would seriously impress your guests...
Organising? I really don't understand what you are talking about! Lol.
